The Pottery Gallery

Open daily 10–5 or by appointment

Green ceramic maple leaves and a set of three green and gold nesting bowls

Enter into the old milking parlor, old cement floor, and funky furniture to find a plethora of pottery in diverse styles, colors, and textures.

Tea pots to butt pots, nesting bowls, to maple leaves.  I love making pots, sculptures, wall hangings, and tea bag holders.  Themed pottery also abounds. Mudra hands, hamsa hands, and kabbalah wall art, ceremonial mandala sacred geometry plates and bee inspired plaques and hand rattles. Functional sets of bowls and large platters for wedding gifts. Raku sculpture of the feminine form to a variety of cups and tea pots.

Below is just a sample of my work. If you would like to buy pottery, please come by the gallery or contact me so I can help you choose just the right piece. Special orders are accepted.

  • As a six-year-old, clay beckoned me to investigate its possibilities as I would sit at a Bluff on Plum Island.  Each summer returning to pinch, mold, stretch, let dry in the sun and then decorate as the tides ebbed and flowed.  Clay has become a lifelong friend, forever changing but always there.

All these years later, I am still at home with clay squishing between my fingers, and now know how it has kept me grounded throughout my life.

I have had a studio at every home, been a guild member, taught in private and public schools, summer camps, and at conventions.

I have work in private and public collections and have shown in many galleries from the World Trade Center to the art barn here in Cabot. I have owned a gallery in Denver Art District, and enjoyed making 500 Challis for a convention.  I have been a member of many guilds, and taught in pilot programs to public schools, after school programs, and in my own studios, as well as before 1000’s on stage at conventions and ladies groups.  I am and always will be a potter!

God is the potter. We are the clay. Part 1 or 2:
